Pearson Electronics, Inc., founded in 1955 in Palo Alto,
California, is the originator of the wide-band current monitoring transformer.
Originally invented for use with Pearson High Voltage Pulse Transformers
and Capacitive Voltage Dividers, the current monitor is now used worldwide
to measure currents in a myriad of applications.
Pearson also originated the use of tapered windings, core biasing, and
large corona rings in the High Voltage Pulse Transformer.
Our Capacitive Voltage Divider was the first to use a coaxial geometry
to minimize calibration errors due to temperature fluctuations and mechanical
movement.
The Pearson Electronics tradition of proprietary design and manufacturing
techniques, executed with careful attention to quality, insures unsurpassed
accuracy and reliability.
