Why
choose a Pearson Electronics Clamp-on
Current
Monitor?
· Patented technology
that has been manufactured since 1955 by the inventor Paul
Pearson.
· Accurate measurement of complex current
waveshapes from microamperes to kiloamperes.
· Wideband frequency response.
· Shielded and ohmically isolated from
the circuit for operation in noisy environments.
· Available in many sizes and
configurations. |
|

The
Pearson Clamp-on
Current Monitor facilitates measurement of current
without opening the circuit. There are two different designs. One consists
of two parts that may be separated to allow clamping around the
conductor to be monitored. The other with a hinged type opening.
|
The
Pearson Clamp-on
Current Monitor is designed to maintain its wide bandwidth and accuracy. Clamp-on's
with apertures from 1/2 inch to 18 inches have been manufactured with
certain models in stock and available for
immediate delivery

Accuracy ±1% or better, initial pulse
response for all models, with a high impedance load such as 1 megohm in parallel
with 20 pF. A 50 ohm termination will reduce the output to half.
