Pearson Electronics designs and manufactures Wide-Band Current Transformers to characterize lightning strikes at the Kennedy Space Center and leading lightning laboratories around the world. The high peak currents and moderately fast rise times make this an ideal application for a Pearson Current Transformer. The typical Pearson model will have 0.01 V/A transfer impedance, or less, for this application.
